Bikers For Jesus - Pledge Form

Bikers For Jesus

Nineteen students from Wesley Foundation at Purdue University, a United Methodist campus ministry, will be bicycling (about 420 miles) over six and a half days from August 8 – 14, 2009 (traveling from South Bend, IN north along Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island, MI).

We are seeking pledges for the miles that we ride. Half of the money received will go to the ministry and mission of the Wesley Foundation at Purdue and the other half will go to purchase bicycles for African church workers through the Friendly Planet Missiology Ministries [http://www.friendlyplanetmissiology] of Indiana Annual Conference. Please consider making a significant donation (possibly per mile that we ride: e. g. 10 cents a mile x 420 miles = $42.00) for these important ministry/missions.

We prefer money to be paid by check and made out to: “Wesley Foundation at Purdue.” {Wesley will send half to Friendly Planet Missiology.} Checks can be sent to: P O Box 2396, West Lafayette, IN 47906. We will write you after Bikers for Jesus to tell you how far we rode, remind you of the amount you pledged, and provide a return envelope for your contribution. Any questions, call Rev. J. Glen Robyne, 765-743-5066.

What is our Foundation?

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it.
But each builder should choose carefully how to build on it. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid; that Foundation is Jesus Christ.
