Leadership Opportunities
Council on Ministries (COM)
The Council on Ministries is our Purdue student organization. This student-governing group elects its own officers and plans much of the programming around Wesley. It provides a great opportunity to get involved more in the life of Wesley and offers several leadership opportunities in various areas, many of which described on this page. Others include Nurture, Evangelism Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Lighting and Sound Coordination, Power Point Operator, Scholastic Assistance, Prayer Coordinator, and Birthday Coordinator.
Internships
Depending on our finances and students’ desire for developing their gifts, internships can be a great way for students to spend a year either before going off to grad school or after graduation. We shape the job description for the intern based on their passions and gifts. We offer free housing and arrange work with another local church to provide a stipend.
