Wesley Foundation at Purdue University announced today a $20,000 gift from Wabash First United Methodist Church in support of Wesley’s campus ministry and new Student Center set to open in summer 2026. Through this gift the Student Center’s conference room will be named for Wabash First United Methodist Church.

“On behalf of the saints of Wabash First United Methodist Church who have been so generous over the years, we are honored to be able to give a grant from our Memorial Fund to the Wesley Foundation at Purdue University so that they may continue to shine the light of Christ for generations to come,” said Rev. Lore Blinn-Gibson, senior pastor of Wabash First United Methodist Church.

Wesley Foundation at Purdue University welcomes all students who seek to grow in a respectful community regardless of theological, religious, or political perspectives or backgrounds. This gift will help to expand Wesley’s work to come alongside students in all stages of faith journeys and continue to build its inclusive community for students to grow through fellowship, worship, and recreation.

“Through this generous gift, Wabash First United Methodist Church affirms a deep and shared commitment to the students we serve at Wesley,” said Rev. Dr. Glen Robyne, Lead Pastor and Director at Wesley Foundation. “We are truly grateful for their partnership and support. Naming the Student Center’s conference room in their honor not only recognized their generosity, but also establishes a meaningful space where students can gather in community and grow as leaders for generations to come.”

Wesley Foundation has always relied on the generosity of churches, alumni, families, and friends. As we enter this exciting new era, we invite you to become a part of our legacy. Make a gift today or learn more about Wesley’s giving priorities.
